How it Works
We will find a time to meet at my perfume studio on the south side of La Crosse, not far from West Avenue. I will show you hands-on how all of this works.
If you would like a custom design, we will discuss a concept for your fragrance. From this idea I will guide you in sampling various fragrance combinations to see what you like best. Together we can design a completely unique fragrance starting from scratch.
If you would like to develop a collection of pre-designed perfumes, we’ll get to work smelling things and picking out bottles and names for the perfumes.
The best part is that it’s really fun!

Consultations, testing and sampling take place at the Gossamer Wings Perfume Studio. Orders may be picked up at the studio. When we have finalized your fragrance and settled on bottles and labels, I will begin work on your first order.
Background
I began painting in 1994 and began designing jewelry in 1996. In 2005, I turned my artistic efforts exclusively to painting portraits in oil, pastel and acrylic. My jewelry designs eventually turned toward aromatherapy jewelry that incorporated both essential oils and perfumes. In 2020, I decided to pivot and immersed myself in the study of perfume design. From there I discovered a new freedom of artistic expression; that is, creating art using scent as my medium rather than paint
Bespoke?
“Bespoke” isn’t a word you hear every day! The word “bespoke” evolved from the verb “bespeak,” meaning to speak for something. It came to mean that an item of clothing or shoes was custom made. In other words, the customer “has spoken.” In modern usage it refers to any goods that are custom made and it implies exclusivity and limited production of the product.
